Like many Newfoundlanders and Labradorians, Elizabeth Collins moved away to find work opportunities. Eventually, after six years in Calgary building a resume in the oil and gas industry, she and her husband began thinking about coming home to raise a family. Despite her valuable work experience, would she have to settle for a lesser career path?

For Elizabeth and other young professionals in the prime of their working lives, a strong oil and gas sector in the province means having the best of both worlds — a rewarding career with a range of opportunities for advancement, and the chance for their children to grow up in the place their parents call home.
